The caregiving and geragogical mission in working with elderly people in residential, day, and nursing home care is to maintain quality of life and reduce the psychological and physical accompanying symptoms of age-related illnesses. Musical offerings are gaining increasing importance and appreciation in this context. Marlis Marchand has been making music for many years with elderly, care-dependent, and dementia-affected individuals.
