The study "Youth - Faith - Religion" contributes to youth research, focusing on religion during adolescence. It was conducted as a quantitative representative study in one federal state and further explored through a qualitative investigation. With the chosen approach, it pursues several innovative perspectives: a nuanced understanding of faith and religion in adolescence, the capture of changes through multiple surveys, the inclusion of students from both religious education and ethics classes with different religious affiliations, and school-type differentiated evaluations. In this way, systematic comparisons between students in the two subjects are made for the first time.
