The materials for English lessons are based on a multi-year teacher training series as part of the project "Ganz In - With All-Day Schooling for a Better Future. The New All-Day Gymnasium NRW." This practical volume consolidates four thematic areas that focus on supporting the heterogeneous student body in secondary schools in line with the project goals: diagnosis and support after the transition to the orientation stage, design and implementation of oral class assessments, quality of learning tasks in teaching materials, and the evaluation of listening comprehension tasks. A mix of material compilations and criteria catalogs supports English teachers with a high degree of practical relevance in planning, implementing, and evaluating English lessons in lower and middle secondary education.
