Integrating music therapy into educational settings is not a new concept, but it has become a highly relevant topic due to developments in health, society, and education policy. It is time to take a closer look at the current state of practice, theory, and research. This book provides an interdisciplinary and international insight into topics related to music therapy in schools, music schools, and kindergartens. The first part discusses the possibilities, opportunities, challenges, and limitations of music therapy in (music) educational settings.
