Companies and organizations today use enormous amounts of data generated by various IT systems. Due to the heterogeneity of the datasets, achieving a holistic view of information is a significant challenge, but solving it offers immense advantages. To achieve integration of different source systems, information quality, measuring it, and ensuring data quality play a crucial role. The authors discuss the issue of data quality in the context of an integration process. They present systems available on the market for data integration and analysis and develop a web-based tool based on a requirements analysis that enables data integration and tests the quality of the data sets. The analysis of the datasets, the identification of duplicates, and the cleansing of the data are the main focus.
