Friedrich Weinreb (1910 Lemberg - 1988 Zurich) was an innovator in the narration of the Bible and a pioneer in the approach to Kabbalah. For him, Judaism and Christianity are creatively connected. The Old and New Testaments form a unity. His work also opens up ways of understanding spiritual experiences. His work is also close to other mystical traditions. Weinreb is considered a great exception in 20th century Judaism. With his groundbreaking book "Creation in the Word. The Structure of the Bible in Jewish Tradition", he opened the treasury of Jewish knowledge.
