The Reformation has profoundly shaped our modern culture - law, business ethics, literature, music - and has had a global impact. This book vividly describes the transformation of the secular and the world through the Reformation. On October 31, 2017, we will commemorate the 500th anniversary of the publication of the 95 Theses, which Martin Luther made known at the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg. On this occasion, the Scientific Advisory Board "Reformation Anniversary 2017" reminds us of the role the Reformation played in the emergence of modernity.
