The book "When Experts Come to School" offers a comprehensive analysis of the role of external consultants in school development. It examines how corporate and educational consultants support schools and the impact of their interventions. The content is based on three theoretical approaches: consulting theory, school development theory, and the concept of Educational Governance. Through empirical research findings from a DFG-funded project, valuable insights into the conditions, processes, and effects of external school development consulting in Germany are provided. The results of this study are of great significance for educational institutions, as they offer practical information for improving school development.
