The question of God is one of the central themes in religious education. In various contexts, students and teachers are repeatedly confronted with it. The material booklet 'Who are you, God?' places this question at the center of its own teaching unit. The starting point is the existing concepts of God held by the children. Their experiential world and reception possibilities provide the framework for the lessons, which can be filled with numerous methodologically and didactically tested suggestions and materials (texts, worksheets, craft templates, and colored illustrations). At the end of the unit, the answers developed together with the children lead to an expanded biblical-theological perspective. The material booklet is suitable for use starting from the 3rd grade of primary school and can also be effectively used in the early years of secondary education.
