Many peoples and ethnic groups in West Africa have maintained their culinary traditions despite colonization and enslavement by Europeans. The uniqueness of this cuisine lies in its simplicity: vegetables, a few ingredients and spices, along with dishes prepared with great love, are very flavorful. Anyone who tries yam, cassava, sweet potato, or plantain dishes will keep coming back for more. In our cookbook, we have published a large number of recipes in the hope of spreading African cuisine a bit further.
