Keitum talks
German, Gisela Stelly Augstein, 2018Product details
Seven years after the death of Rudolf Augstein, Martin Walser first claimed paternity of his oldest son Jakob in November 2009. Jakob publicly acknowledged Martin Walser as his biological father and designated the previous man as his legal father. In the Keitumer Conversations, Gisela Stelly's literary-poetic text explores the redefinition of the Augstein and Walser families. Unexpectedly, this complaint from the disembodied father (Rudolf Augstein) evolves into a genuine stage play - half tragedy, half comedy. The protagonists are Fritz (Fritz J. Raddatz), the mother (Maria Carlsson-Augstein), the father (Martin Walser), the son (Jakob Augstein), and a lawyer.
