The new "Durchblick" Social Studies: Tailored to the new curriculum 2015/16 for integrated comprehensive schools in Lower Saxony. Approved for secondary schools and high schools in Bremen. Tasks are provided for three different levels of difficulty. Special pages for introductory and advanced levels offer additional options for internal differentiation. Challenging historical source texts have been newly prepared in a more student-friendly format. Author texts have been carefully developed with regard to the age and average performance level of the students, ensuring that they do not lose the thread of the subject matter. A clear layout enhances orientation within the book. Large-format images and illustrations encourage engagement with the book and support the learning process. Collaborative learning forms and a support system facilitate independent learning and promote the acquisition of process- and content-related competencies.
