Time can pass like a flash or crawl like a snail. Experiences with the phenomenon of time play an immediate role in children's everyday lives - whether as objectively measurable time or as subjectively perceived time. The thematic issue "Experiencing Time" 1/2 offers children the opportunity to engage with the topic of time in diverse and in-depth ways, at their own level and according to their needs. This allows them to perceive time as a defining element of their reality and further develop their awareness of time, learn about and appropriately use different forms of time division and measurement, experience recurring times and their influence on the life rhythms of animals and plants, understand the change of seasons and the associated processes as a natural rhythm, and view time measurement in the past and today as an ongoing developmental process.
