Air is one of our most important foundations of life, yet it is so taken for granted that we often do not consciously perceive it. We cannot see or touch air. Nevertheless, there are many exciting ways to discover, experience, and investigate the physical and chemical properties of air. The thematic issue "Physics and Chemistry Workshop - Air" for grades 3/4 offers students a variety of opportunities to explore the scientific phenomenon of air in a hands-on, independent, and experimental manner, tailored to their level and needs, through tasks at different levels of difficulty and clear experimental instructions. This allows them to investigate air as a gaseous substance in a fact-oriented way, plan and conduct simple experiments to verify hypotheses, and carry out more complex experiments following instructions.
