The revised edition of the Stratego series offers exercises in spelling that allow students in lower secondary education to acquire spelling strategies in a targeted and independent manner. Independent learning is supported through fundamental work techniques in spelling instruction (looking up, finding and correcting errors, word lists, copying, partner dictation). Self-assessment of learning success is ensured for students both through the included answer section and through competency checks at the end of a practice unit. To accommodate the increasingly diverse student body, differentiation tasks are offered in some areas for higher-performing students. Each volume includes a brief explanation of the series concept, which is intended for both teachers and students.
