The revised edition of the Stratego series offers exercises in spelling that allow students in secondary education to independently and purposefully acquire spelling strategies. Independent learning is supported through fundamental work techniques in spelling instruction (looking up, finding and correcting errors, word lists, copying, partner dictation). Self-assessment of learning success is ensured for students both through the included answer section and through competency checks at the end of a unit. To accommodate the increasingly heterogeneous student body, differentiation tasks for more advanced students are provided in certain sections. Each volume includes a brief explanation of the series' concept, which is intended for both teachers and students.
