Parents and children alike note a communication gap between generations, as the UNESCO study on the situation of young people in Germany in 2007 made clear: 40 percent of German teenagers complain that their stressed-out working parents do not talk to them enough and do not understand how they, the teenagers, think. It’s time to overcome this silence! In collaboration with the youth magazine YAM! and its readers, Schwarzkopf & Schwarzkopf will publish the book "How Teenagers Tick" in September 2007. The third volume following the bestsellers "How Men Tick" (2005) and "How Women Tick" (2006) will pose and answer over 100 questions that parents have for their teenage children, helping to improve the dialogue between them and their parents with unfiltered responses from the teenagers.
