Jürgen Rosinski and Ernst G. Siebeneicher-Hellwig demonstrate in this workshop volume how you can search for iron ore, build a smelting furnace, and produce your own steel with simple means and minimal financial investment. From this material, you will forge a blade for a tanto (dagger) and a hocho (kitchen knife) and differentially harden both blades.
