Project management is a relatively young discipline, whose content, scope, and significance have grown considerably in recent years. However, it lacks comprehensive standardization of the associated terminology. As a result, the professional community uses a variety of terms that can lead to different interpretations, as multiple definitions often exist. In particular, English or Anglo-American technical terms often do not have an exact equivalent in the German language. The qualified technical dictionary provides all project managers and those interested in the field with an overall overview of the subject area. It is structured lexically and outlines the current catalog of terms used in project management, providing the corresponding English words alongside the German technical terms.
