Measuring devices alone are not sufficient to reliably assess children's hearing ability. Equally important is knowledge about what needs to be considered in this process. This book aims to impart this knowledge to all professional groups interested in the practice of pediatric audiometry. It not only provides a detailed description of the handling of behavioral observation and play audiometry; it also critically examines the speech audiometry methods applicable to children. Additionally, it addresses the new possibilities of impedance audiometry in examinations of children, as well as the practice of audiometry in multiply disabled children.
