How can you create delicious herb salts and caramel candies? Is it possible to separate the components of a mixture of gravel, sand, and salt? If so, how? The learning workshop provides enlightening answers to these and other questions. Students examine salt crystals with a magnifying glass and under a microscope, taste tea with rock candy, learn about the dye from red cabbage, and use it to dye eggs. In addition to practical work, they document their findings in writing and images, match texts and pictures, and mark correct statements.
