Excited and full of anticipation, we looked into the future back then! Join us in reminiscing about the first 18 years of life - your childhood and youth! Born in 1965, we were part of the Baby Boomer generation. We witnessed the first man on the moon, grew up with Pixie books and nimm2 candies, with Penaten cream on baby bottoms and the Sandman on television. We loved Heintje and the show with the mouse. Student protests, terrorist manhunts, and the oil crisis affected our parents while we enjoyed the first frozen foods. Dressed in hand-knitted wool sweaters and hand-dyed overalls, we marched into our youth with the motto "No to nuclear power and arms!".
