Using children's books, various philosophical and ethical questions are addressed in a child-friendly manner and related to the everyday lives of boys and girls. Topics include, for example, reality and fiction or truth and lies. In the latter context, children get to know King Trulytrue from the eponymous children's book. Building on their own experiences that sometimes truth can cause anger or hurt others, the question is explored whether lying might sometimes be justified, whether there can be good reasons for a lie, and whether there are differences between a lie and a deception or a mistake. Recommended for grades 1-6 of primary school and for special education.
