MiCAR Crypto Assets and the Principles of Financial Market Regulation. National Regulation in Malta and Germany within the European Multi-Level System: This thesis examines the implementation of financial market regulation principles, particularly investor protection, market integrity, and financial market stability, in relation to MiCAR's crypto asset regulation. A comparative legal analysis is conducted with reference to the regulations in Germany and Malta prior to the entry into force of MiCAR. The necessity for regulation is identified for staking, lending, and liquidity mining services that are not independently regulated.
