From a discourse-analytical perspective, Susanne Omran examines the role of bourgeois women activists in the formation of the "Jewish question." She demonstrates that the themes of the women's movement, whether discussing immorality or - during times of war - the service of women to the nation, consistently referenced the figure of the Jew and the "Jewish."
