Even the fourteen-year-old Thomas Mann referred to himself as a lyrical-dramatic poet. This volume of the extensive annotated Frankfurt edition addresses this aspect of his work and presents, as a great rarity, all of his poems, his film works, and especially the Renaissance drama Fiorenza, which was published in book form in 1905 and premiered in 1907.
