The popular event series "Experienced History" was discontinued in the summer of 2010 after 16 years. In three publications, the conversations up to the year 2004 have already been documented. Now, the concluding fourth volume is being presented; it covers the period from 2005 to 2010. This time, 25 prominent contemporaries with connections to Heidelberg are interviewed by Michael Buselmeier, including the archaeologist Jan Assmann, the political scientist Klaus von Beyme, the writers Wilhelm Genazino, the project developer Roland Ernst, the former director of the art association Hans Gercke, the photographer Robert Häusser, the director Hansgünther Heyme, the city councilor Dorothea Paschen, and the former Minister-President of Rhineland-Palatinate and Thuringia, Bernhard Vogel. Additionally, Bert Burger, Reinhard Düchting, Jochen Goetze, Jens Christian Jensen, Wassili Lepanto, Johann Lippet, Heinz Markmann, and Ewin Poell are featured.
