For the 10th anniversary of the Museum Ritter, photographer Horst Hamann has created an extraordinary photo book as a tribute to the museum and its artists. The museum was opened in 2005 in Waldenbuch for the extensive art collection of Marli Hoppe-Ritter, co-owner of the Ritter Sport company. As a private institution, the museum is dedicated to the presentation and promotion of predominantly geometric abstract art. In rotating exhibitions, works from the Marli Hoppe-Ritter collection are showcased. Additionally, three to four special exhibitions are held annually, thematically linked to specific contents of the collection. One of the goals is to highlight historical developments in the field of geometric abstraction, as well as to present internationally significant representatives of this art movement.
