So-called "temporary structures" play a significant role in daily life: temporary architecture, such as grandstands, air-supported structures, or stage constructions, is being used more frequently. Recently, the legislator has reformed the associated regulations. The two practitioners, Dr. Roland Ondra (static calculations) and Hartmut H. Starke (building regulations law), extract the important aspects for the safe handling of "temporary structures" from the confusing technical standards and rules from the perspective of the event industry.
