Yoga is a beneficial training method for pregnant women, which strengthens, relaxes and gently prepares the body for the birth. This comprehensive handbook presents seventy proven and tested asanas that are particularly suitable for this purpose, and also offers birth-preparatory breathing exercises, pair exercises and classical Indian mudras. Using many photos taken by the author during her own pregnancy, the individual asanas and their variations for each trimester are presented. At the same time, their respective positive effects, anatomical details as well as warning signs and possible aids are explained.
