The Discoveries in Numberland is a concept for early mathematical education in group instruction. This concept provides you with a systematic approach to implement early mathematical education in a meaningful, successful, and enjoyable way for both children and adults. The unique nature of mathematical objects and their high degree of abstraction require a special approach. The Discoveries in Numberland demonstrate how abstract mathematical content can be developed from perception and action and continuously tested in applications. The project is based on proven principles of mathematics didactics as well as fundamental ideas from neurodidactics that can be derived from modern brain research. At the core of the Discoveries in Numberland is the development of the concept of number with all its aspects based on three experiences.
