The revised edition of "The Sorcerer's Apprentice 1" offers new elements that support children on their way to achieving accurate spelling. A conscious reflection on the work done is facilitated by the double margin in the footer of each page. For error-free work, the teacher enters a form of confirmation in the left margin. If the child has made mistakes on the page, the teacher notes the number of errors in the left margin, while the child records the number of errors they have identified themselves in the right margin. When marking the mistakes, the teacher can take a differentiated approach: for more capable students, she can highlight the error in the margin, while for those who struggle, she marks directly behind the word. The child can then correct the mistake using their favorite color. The symbol of the double margin is explained on the front flap.
