However, perhaps Bergson's concept of the deep self, which manifests in the act of freedom, can prevent us from losing our creative ability to shape our lives from within: In this sense, "Time and Freedom" remains a relevant book. Bergson interprets all reality from the metaphysical unity of life and, on this basis, develops an intuitive theory of knowledge, psychology, philosophy of nature, ethics, and philosophy of religion.
