The "defensive alliance" is history, and now we must actively strive for peace, especially with our neighbor Russia. Because of the US nuclear weapons stationed here, Germany is explicitly in the Kremlin's sights. We must no longer allow ourselves to be misused as the "Trojan donkey of the Pentagon," Hochhuth insists, but must insist on sovereignty.
