The wide range of climbing opportunities in Central Switzerland includes numerous charming climbing gardens around Lake Lucerne, the traditional pre-Alpine climbing walls in Bockmattli and at the Mythen, the popular alpine sport climbing areas in Melchtal, and the high-alpine multi-pitch routes on Schlossberg and Titlis. Volume 1 provides a detailed presentation in text and images of the sub-areas Seelisberg-Klewen, Engelbergertal, Melchtal, Sarnen-Brünig, and Entlebuch, featuring a total of approximately 900 routes ranging from 1 to 28 pitches.
