"Emotional Openness" is a contemporary model of emotion processing and regulation. It builds on modern concepts of emotions and therapy and has proven effective in a variety of studies. In clinical and social therapeutic practice, where disturbances or impairments of affectivity are often addressed, "emotional openness" can help enrich and improve diagnostics and interventions in this area in numerous ways. This volume introduces the fundamentals of this new approach and presents a series of intervention examples, including in the field of social therapeutic work with young people, along with a detailed case description.
