The term "business model" is on everyone's lips. But what does it really mean? The aim of this book is to shed light on the subject: it seeks to provide definitions and viable concepts of the construct "business model" and illustrates them with examples from various industries and companies from both the old and new economies. This offers an initial insight into the design possibilities for successful business models. At the same time, the limitations of the construct "business model" are highlighted.
