Katharina and Martin have been happily living together for a year now. Summer is back, and they are planning their next vacation. This time, their journey begins in Igrane on the Makarska Riviera, as Martin wants to visit his old friends Mavid and Mia once more. Almost at the same time, Martin's ex-wife Karin is traveling alone to Croatia and meets the charming Stephan Engel. When Katharina and Martin return to the small Dalmatian village of Punte Mati after a few days, they learn from their friend Ivo that a huge hotel complex is planned here. Since this large project requires a lot of space, not only will the entire pine forest be cut down, but Ivo's old house is also set to be demolished. Although all the citizens are against the construction of such a large hotel complex, the agency is not backing down from its plans in any way.
