This volume investigates the behavior of thermally relaxed and thermally pre-stressed soda-lime-silicate glass under cyclic loading through constant amplitude tests using double ring and three-point bending tests under various boundary conditions. Additionally, it examines whether soda-lime-silicate glass exhibits a fatigue threshold under periodic loading and if crack healing effects occur between individual load cycles. The results are compared with analytical and numerical crack growth calculations based on the theoretical laws of fracture mechanics, ultimately deriving equations for the practical design of glass components.
