Jacques Herbin, Ink 1670, Violet Impérial, bottle 50ml The inks of the 1670 series celebrate the year in which the house of Jacques HERBIN was founded in the heart of Paris, where originally sealing wax and then later writing inks were produced. The 1670 inks have intense colours and glow with a golden shimmer. Ink 1670, Violet Impérial, with bluish reflections and a thousand shimmers, for an incomparable writing experience. Bottle 50ml. Because of its rarity, this ink, a symbol of luxury but also of mystery, was used in the Roman Empire by the emperor and his dependents and later by the various royal houses. King Louis XIV, under whose reign the House of Jacques HERBIN was founded, also used it for his clothes at certain stages of his life. This fresh and elegant colour is highly appreciated today, especially in decoration and design. The ink is suitable for fountain pens, rollerballs, glass nibs and penholders. The waxing of the cap and the seal on the bottle are made by hand in our workshops.
