Which toner goes with this printer, 243 or 247? There is a small difference in the price. Greetings Peter

Hello Peter
I'll copy you an answer here that answers your question.
Alternatively, there is the TN-247 for 3,000 or 2,300 pages. Background of the "small" toners: Since the print quality decreases with the consumption and the age, it makes sense that "average printers" replace the toners every 1-2 years.
Personally, I don't usually buy a set with the same toners, but rather as needed, for example: TN-247BK (large toner because black is needed for every print) and the colours CMY with TN-243 (because only about a quarter of my prints are coloured, as I have deliberately set "B/W - monochrome" as the default). This is how I "save" the most and ultimately have no investment ruin if the thing unexpectedly gives up the ghost.

Answer to your question: Both toners fit.
TN-243BK: 1'000 pages
TN-243C: 1'000 pages
TN-243M: 1'000 pages
TN-243Y: 1'000 pages
TN-247BK: 3'000 pages
TN-247C: 2'300 pages
TN-247M: 2'300 pages
TN-247Y: 2'300 pages
(Manufacturer's data)
The "first fills" are possibly even smaller than the 243s. My first (supplied) black toner was reported as empty after 440 pages! :-(
Now there's a TN-247BK in it. Let's see how "far" I get with it....

As Gottmann has already mentioned, the TN 247 is the "jumbo cartridge, the TN 243 the smaller and therefore cheaper one. For the rest, I am very satisfied with the printer and can recommend it without reservation.
