Vacuuming once a week is sufficient to keep the rug clean and well-maintained. We recommend using a vacuum cleaner with a flat, soft brush and setting it to medium suction power. Always vacuum your rug in the direction of the pile. Due to the handmade nature, loose fibers may be visible on the surface of your rug at the beginning of use. If the format allows, turn your rug 180 degrees every six months. This ensures even wear and prevents color fading due to sunlight. Remove stains promptly. Liquids should be absorbed with an absorbent, non-coloring cotton cloth. Work from the edge inward and do not rub the stain. For solid dirt, pick up loose particles with a knife.
