Product details
Bumble and Bimble figure. These adorable creatures belong to the species of Hoptimists. The universe of these small wooden figures with funny springy heads was originally conceived in 1968 by Danish cabinetmaker Hans Gustav Ehrenreich, but production was halted after just about five years. In 2009, Lotte Steffensen revived the brand Hoptimist, created specifically for this purpose, in the spirit of Ehrenreich: Their round, friendly facial shapes are meant to bring a smile to our faces, and their hopping is intended as a motivational aid to make the day a little brighter. The concept also includes that each Hoptimist, despite its different sizes and materials, is assembled in a workshop for people with disabilities: First, we glue felt under the feet, then attach the spring to the base, and when the head is placed on top and we let it go – that’s when they come to life. Bumble figure. Attentively with open eyes and a quirky head antenna, this lively wobbler made of colorful plastic cheerfully absorbs news – without immediately adding its own two cents. What a delight for the office!.
