Planet Lighting Series. The master of transparency, Tokujin Yoshioka, plays with magical spheres: he does not resort to the magician's trick box but instead pours all his experience in plastic processing into his first lights for the Italian brand Kartell. Instead of crystal glass, he naturally uses a casting resin made of transparent acrylic, which, due to its varying material thickness, refracts light differently from every angle. The complex faceting plays with the physical lens effect, resulting in a magical sparkle that cannot be achieved with crystal glass. Kartell offers the magical glitter spheres either as a pendant light or a table lamp, the latter available in two versions: one round with a base or elevated on a stand.

Mini Planet Mobile LED Table Lamp with Battery. The sparkling sphere cleverly conceals the permanently integrated LED light source in its base, allowing the light to shine almost glare-free. In its "Mini" size, this mobile table lamp can not only be dimmed in light intensity thanks to its rechargeable battery but also serves excellently as a safe – and beautiful – lighting option on the dining table.
