Hyg Chair Series. This design by Simon Legald for the Danish brand Normann Copenhagen unabashedly derives its abbreviated name from the exuberant ideal of typical Danish comfort culture. The design demonstrates how "hygge" can be embodied in a piece of seating furniture while still maintaining a modern aesthetic: the high and forward-reaching seat shell made of plastic supports the pelvis and torso, comfortably enveloping the back while sitting. Normann Copenhagen offers the design in various frame options, allowing for different applications in interior design.

Hug Bar Stool. The elevated chair features a classic four-legged design made of slender steel tubing, which is attractively powder-coated in a tone that matches the seat shell. The front brace of the frame serves as a footrest, inviting a more comfortable sitting experience on the bar stool. Simon Legald equips the bar stool with a low backrest that complements the enveloping seat shell, providing sufficient support for the back while offering more freedom of movement on the bar stool.
