Not as far as I have seen. The Hue Shape Lights have 6 phases and the Paulmann only 5.

Having now received them I can confirm that they ARE NOT compatible with Aqara light strips as the pins are more widely spaced. Shame as I can't find a similar connector for the strips I have.

So you can't cut the connecting cable. You can cut or shorten the LED strips. But LED strips are a different product.
No, as far as I know it is not compatible. The connection on the strip is firmly connected with a heat shrink tube. The only thing that might work is an extension between the mains plug and the strip, but I haven't found one yet.

Unfortunately, this is not possible because when you cut the LED strip, you have a straight line and no more "recess" for the connecting piece that comes between the LED strip and the corner.
