Ole Kortzau designed his first Christmas decoration in the Karen Blixen's Jul series back in 2007. Each year, new ornaments are added in the special handcrafted quality, made with great attention to detail, so that each ornament appears like a small work of art, plated with real silver and gold.
The 2024 collection includes this gilded "Ball Flower," inspired by Karen Blixen's vivid descriptions of nature. She loved flowers, and the ornament "Ball Flower" is an expression of that love and the ability to find beauty even in the simplest motif.
