An individual combination with a synergistic effect: Adrienna Matzeg and Jenny Suh design a striking frame with a small shelf at the bottom of the picture for the Canadian brand Umbra. Charmingly rounded at the corners, hardly anyone will bump into the shelf, even though the small compartment protrudes from the wall by about eight centimetres. The Canadian design is particularly emphasized when both the framed picture (20 x 25 cm) and the decoration placed on the shelf, such as plants, vases or small sculptures, establish a deliberate relationship with each other. And so that this unusual wall shelf does not hang alone on the wall, Umbra combines in the Matinee Gallery picture frame 5-piece set four frames as photo holders: two each for the small 10 x 15 cm and the larger 13 x 18 cm format.
