Question about TFA Projection

Does the display always light up? (backlight) or only when a button is pressed? I only need the projection function. The display does not need to be illuminated (I only need the device as a clock, not as an alarm clock)

The display of the TFA Dostmann projection clock (model 60.5016.01) can be adjusted so that the backlight and projection do not have to be constantly lit.

- The projection and display lighting can be set to two brightness levels or switched off completely.
- If the device is powered by batteries alone, the projection and display lighting can only be activated for a few seconds at the touch of a button. With the mains adapter, the projection can be activated permanently and the brightness can be adjusted.

This allows you to set the device so that the display is not permanently illuminated and you only use the projection function.
