The SunSun CUP-807 aquarium filter pump with integrated UVC clarifier combines an aquarium pump, aquarium filter and a 7-watt UVC clarifier in just one device. The aquarium filter pump is ideal for use in medium-sized aquariums with a water volume of up to 500 litres. The practical design of the aquarium filter means it can be accommodated in any aquarium to save space. The flow rate of the aquarium pump is 700 litres per hour with a power consumption of just 10 W. The suction openings are deliberately kept narrow to prevent young animals, shrimps or crabs from entering the aquarium filter. The filter outlet can be rotated by 90°. The aquarium water is filtered by a filter sponge and bio-quartz balls, which provide a large colonisation area for beneficial filter bacteria. Filter sponges prevent suspended particles from entering the pump body of the aquarium pump. The use of filter sponges reduces the nitrate content in the aquarium and cleans the aquarium water of chemical impurities. The porous surface of the bio-quartz balls is ideal for the colonisation of billions of micro-organisms. As a result, the water is optimally purified and the nitrite content is reduced. Cleaning the filter pump only takes a few minutes, as the filter unit can be quickly removed, cleaned and reassembled.
